Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity
Welcome

Thanks to your support, Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity makes a huge difference to patients, their families and staff at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Through fundraising activities, events, charitable donations, legacies and voluntary support, our aim is to support the provision of first class healthcare at Leighton Hospital (Crewe), Victoria Infirmary (Northwich) and Elmhurst Intermediate Care Centre (Winsford).

We believe that everyone who visits Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust should have an
experience that exceeds their expectations. That’s why the money we raise contributes to projects such as the funding of state-of-the-art equipment and the rebuilding and refurbishment of parts of the hospital.

Our fundraising appeal

One in Eleven Appeal

Work is underway on our new neonatal unit!

Thanks to our fantastically successful One in Eleven Appeal, preparatory work is now underway on our brand new neonatal unit at Leighton Hospital, Crewe.

Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has also decided to take the opportunity during the renovations to refurbish ward 23, the maternity ward, which is located above where our new neonatal unit is being created at ward 22.

We have now decanted the maternity ward and stripped ward 22 to make way for the renovation work and are excited that things are moving ahead.

The new neonatal unit will be roughly double the size and will be housed in an existing space adjacent to the recently refurbished labour ward, creating a first-class facility for babies from birth and beyond.

It will provide more space and a modern layout that will offer greater privacy and comfort for families when they are going through the most difficult of times.

This vision has been made possible by everyone that supported our One in Eleven Appeal, which hit its target earlier this year.

Don’t forget we still need your support for Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity’s on-going work and future appeals, and you can keep up to date with our activities via Facebook and Twitter.

We are also in need of volunteers for MCHC and if you would like to get involved, please contact us on 01270 273248.

We couldn't have done it without you!
